Finding low cost coverage rates for insurance can seem to be very difficult for beginners to online insurance quotes. People have so many options available that it can quickly become a big hassle to compare coverage rates.
It is always a good idea to shop coverage around at least once a year because insurance prices go up and down regularly. Even if you got the lowest rate for Quattroporte insurance last year there may be better deals available now. Forget anything you know (or think you know) about insurance because you’re about to learn one of the best ways to find lower rates on insurance.
Cheap insurance coverage quotes online
There are multiple methods to compare insurance coverage quotes, but there is one way that is easier and takes less work. You can waste hours discussing policy coverages with agents in your area, or you could save time and use online quotes to accomplish the same thing much quicker.
Most major companies enroll in a system that enables customers to submit one quote, and every company can give them a price determined by their information. This saves time by eliminating repetitive form submissions for each company.

The only drawback to doing it this way is you can’t choose which providers you want to price. If you prefer to choose individual companies to receive pricing from, we have assembled a list of insurance coverage companies in your area. View list of insurance companies.
It doesn’t matter which method you choose, just make darn sure you compare the exact same deductibles and coverage limits for each price quote. If your comparisons have different liability limits it will be very difficult to determine the lowest rate for your Maserati Quattroporte. Just slight variations in limits can mean a large discrepancy in price. Keep in mind that comparing a wide range of rates will increase your chances of finding the best rates.

Tailor your auto insurance coverage to you
When buying the best auto insurance coverage for your vehicles, there isn’t really a “best” method to buy coverage. Everyone’s situation is unique.
These are some specific questions can aid in determining whether your personal situation may require specific advice.
- What is UM/UIM insurance?
- Is a blown tire covered by insurance?
- Should I have a commercial auto policy?
- Is my babysitter covered when using my vehicle?
- Is my 2010 Maserati Quattroporte covered for smoke damage?
- When do I need to add a new car to my policy?
- How can I get high-risk coverage after a DUI?
- Which is better, split liability limits or combined limits?
If you don’t know the answers to these questions then you might want to talk to a licensed agent. If you want to speak to an agent in your area, simply complete this short form.
Educate yourself about insurance coverages
Having a good grasp of your insurance policy can be of help when determining appropriate coverage and proper limits and deductibles. The coverage terms in a policy can be difficult to understand and coverage can change by endorsement.
Collision – This covers damage to your Quattroporte caused by collision with an object or car. A deductible applies then the remaining damage will be paid by your insurance company.
Collision coverage protects against claims like colliding with a tree, scraping a guard rail, crashing into a ditch and driving through your garage door. Collision coverage makes up a good portion of your premium, so consider dropping it from vehicles that are older. You can also bump up the deductible to bring the cost down.
Uninsured and underinsured coverage – This coverage provides protection when other motorists are uninsured or don’t have enough coverage. Covered claims include injuries sustained by your vehicle’s occupants as well as damage to your Maserati Quattroporte.
Because many people have only the minimum liability required by law, it doesn’t take a major accident to exceed their coverage limits. That’s why carrying high Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage is very important. Most of the time the UM/UIM limits do not exceed the liability coverage limits.
Comprehensive coverages – This will pay to fix damage from a wide range of events other than collision. A deductible will apply and then insurance will cover the rest of the damage.
Comprehensive insurance covers things like damage from flooding, falling objects and damage from a tornado or hurricane. The most you can receive from a comprehensive claim is the ACV or actual cash value, so if the vehicle’s value is low consider dropping full coverage.
Liability coverages – Liability insurance will cover damage or injury you incur to people or other property. It protects YOU from claims by other people, and doesn’t cover your own vehicle damage or injuries.
It consists of three limits, per person bodily injury, per accident bodily injury, and a property damage limit. You commonly see limits of 100/300/100 which stand for a $100,000 limit per person for injuries, a limit of $300,000 in injury protection per accident, and $100,000 of coverage for damaged propery. Alternatively, you may have a combined limit which provides one coverage limit without having the split limit caps.
Liability coverage protects against claims such as medical expenses, funeral expenses, legal defense fees and attorney fees. How much liability should you purchase? That is a personal decision, but consider buying higher limits if possible.
Coverage for medical payments – Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and medical payments coverage pay for expenses like dental work, rehabilitation expenses, X-ray expenses, hospital visits and doctor visits. They are often used to fill the gap from your health insurance policy or if you lack health insurance entirely. Coverage applies to both the driver and occupants as well as any family member struck as a pedestrian. PIP coverage is not available in all states but can be used in place of medical payments coverage
